Les travaux de recherche de l’équipe ILDA ont pour but de tirer parti de la richesse de ces modèles de données pour concevoir de nouveaux systèmes interactifs qui assistent au mieux les utilisateurs dans leurs tâches de compréhension et de traitement de ces grandes
quantités de données.
Les ensembles de données ne sont plus seulement volumineux. Ils sont distribués à partir de sources multiples et de plus en plus interconnectées, et consistent en des éléments de contenu hétérogènes structurés de manière élaborée. Notre objectif est de concevoir des systèmes interactifs centrés sur les données qui fournissent aux utilisateurs les bonnes données au bon moment et leur permettent de manipuler et de partager efficacement ces données.
Nous concevons, développons et évaluons de nouvelles techniques d’interaction et de visualisation afin de donner aux utilisateurs les moyens d’agir dans des contextes mobiles et stationnaires impliquant une variété de dispositifs d’affichage, notamment : smartphones et tablettes, casques de réalité augmentée, stations de travail de bureau, tablettes, écrans muraux à ultra-haute résolution.
